Laboratory of Neurometabolic pharmacology
Neurometabolic pharmacology is the study of drugs that affect energy and glucose metabolism by acting on the nervous system. It involves examining the interactions of natural and chemical substances with neurons and receptors of the central and peripheral (sympathetic, parasympathetic and enteric) nervous systems.

We are located in beautiful Quebec City and are affiliated with the Quebec Heart and Lung Institute and the Montreal Diabetes Research Center. Our students are enrolled in the graduate program of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Université Laval.
